Work done
Performed computer diagnostics of the engine and vehicle systems before and after chiptuning. Read and reprogrammed the ECU on the bench. Completed Stage 1, then repeated diagnostics and tested the vehicle’s performance.
Result
Power increased from 163 HP to about 200 HP, torque from 350 Nm to 430 Nm. The car responds faster to the throttle and accelerates more confidently during driving and overtaking.
Case details
The 2015 Opel Insignia with a 2.0 CDTI diesel engine underwent Stage 1 chiptuning to increase power and torque. Before the work, a computer diagnostic was performed to check the systems, followed by ECU reprogramming on the bench. This improved throttle response and increased torque reserve during driving.
