Client goal
The owner wanted stronger acceleration from the Insignia and more torque for everyday use.
Work done
We performed diagnostics before the tune and carried out Stage 1, accessing the ECU in Bench mode. Diagnostics and final checks followed installation. We used Dragy to compare acceleration before and after the work.
Result
Estimated Stage 1 output is approximately 200 HP and approximately 430 Nm. Measured 0–100 km/h acceleration improved from 11.54 s to 9.51 s — a reduction of 2.03 s.
Case details
This Insignia gained more pulling power to get up to speed. Its owner wanted livelier performance and a larger reserve of torque for everyday driving. After Stage 1, estimated output from the 2.0 CDTI is 200 HP and 430 Nm. Acceleration was measured separately from the estimated engine output: Dragy recorded 9.51 seconds to 100 km/h, 2.03 seconds quicker than before. That is the purpose of this project: stronger acceleration the driver can put to use on the road.
