Case details
A spacious estate need not have a reserved character. For this 2011 Opel Insignia, we prepared and installed a Stage 1 calibration for its two-litre 2.0 CDTI diesel. The focus was on how the engine delivers its torque: throttle response and the rev range used in everyday driving. The aim is a more willing response when accelerating out of a bend or building speed on the open road. The manual gearbox keeps gear selection in the driver’s hands, while the calibration is designed to make fuller use of the engine’s potential.
