Client goal
The client wanted to improve everyday driving dynamics without aggressive power increases. The goal was better throttle response, stronger mid-range pull, and greater confidence during overtaking.
Work done
Diagnostics were done before the upgrade, engine parameters checked, and dynamic logs recorded. Then a custom Stage 1 calibration was prepared for the 2.0 TDI engine. After flashing, diagnostic checks, additional logs, and a Dragy measurement were completed.
Result
After the upgrade, the Volkswagen Passat B6 delivers about 200 HP and 420 Nm. The car responds noticeably better to throttle, accelerates stronger in the mid-range, and offers increased confidence when overtaking. These results were confirmed by diagnostics, dynamic logs, and Dragy measurement.
Case details
Stage 1 was focused on a safe and daily-friendly tune. Before the upgrade, the engine condition and operating parameters were checked. After flashing the ECU, diagnostic control and dynamic logs were performed. This ensured the modification was based on real vehicle data, not done blindly. The result is a more responsive Passat with improved throttle response and a smoother daily drive without overstressing stock components.
