Client goal

The client wanted better vehicle dynamics for safer overtaking on highways, as the stock 170 HP and 350 Nm were insufficient. Additionally, eco system issues needed resolving to avoid costly repairs and dashboard errors.

Work done

Our mobile service visited the client for the work. We performed in-depth diagnostics and engine log reading. Safe software disablement of DPF, EGR, and throttle valves was completed. Original ECU software was read and Stage 1 firmware installed, balancing power and engine longevity. Dragy Pro was used to measure performance before and after the upgrade.

Result

Power rose from 170 HP to ~200 HP, torque increased from 350 Nm to ~420 Nm. The 80-120 km/h acceleration dropped from 8.01 s to 6.86 s, 1.15 s faster. The car gained instant throttle response and strong, stable torque, enhancing driving safety and comfort.

Case details

This project involved comprehensive tuning of the Audi A4 B7 2.0 TDI, significantly boosting engine power and torque. Alongside Stage 1 chiptuning, we safely disabled eco systems (DPF, EGR, throttle valves) to improve engine performance and prevent future issues.
