Client goal
The owner needed more pulling power when loaded and on inclines, with less need to change down a gear.
Work done
Following diagnostics, we read the original software from the Bosch EDC17C69 ECU in Bench mode. The Stage 1 calibration was matched to the ECU’s hardware and software versions.
Result
Estimated output after the tune is approximately 145 HP and approximately 340 Nm, up from the stock 115 HP and 290 Nm. The added torque supports the main aim: more pulling power for a working van.
Case details
A loaded van, an uphill stretch, picking up speed again: these are the moments when torque earns its keep. The owner of this Ducato wanted more pulling power and less need to change down during the working day. We prepared Stage 1 around those practical needs, increasing torque from the stock 290 Nm to approximately 340 Nm. The driver’s workload shaped the project, with the focus on stronger loaded acceleration and a more flexible 2.0 Multijet engine.
